Lunchtime, it was a great time of day. It was the time of day, when classes were taking a break, and friends could get together and eat. That was if you had friends, Leena was one of the girls who though may be popular, she did not contain to many actual friends since she tended to stay away from the general public. Though she did have one friend, her bunny, but that would be too risky to bring it outside for lunch.

To where most people ate in the cafeteria, Leena actually ate in the field. It was a quiet place, where she could think and be alone. Another reason in which caused her to have a lack of friends.

"The clouds, are cute today!" she mused aloud, taking a bite of her carrot. Carrots had been one of her favorite foods since she was young, and she in no way wished to change that.

Leena had picked her favorite part of the field to sit in like always, and of course she wore the school uniform she would get in trouble if it were anything else. Like always she had the same lunch, a cup of pudding, a few carrots, and a glass of water. It was her favorite combination, but sometimes she did wish she could share it with someone besides her bunny.

She ran.
Once the bells rang she ran as if she ran for her very life knowing that if she hesitated, if she stopped to look round she would think...then she would be noticed...then she would be caught. she didn't dare to spend any amount of time considering whether this stroke of luck was real or about to be taken from her. The pounding of her feet against the ground took her further and further into her little bid for freedom and that it was so close she felt the smile come to her lips.

And then the laughter. Almost hysterically happy as her ponytail bounced after her. A jaunty aquamarine streak in the warm sunshine of midday. She ignored the stares, they only spurred her on. She headed towards the fields. For the grass and the trees and the flower spattered across various points in the grass. It could be her launch pad for the elation she felt as her feet crossed it. It was empty she liked it that way, she spotted a girl though but couldn't tell what it was she was doing. Perhaps she was having her lunch. It didn't matter though, she would be past her too and away before she was even something worth thinking about. At least so she thought...

Until she tripped over something unseen and went sprawling into the soft grass with an explusion of breath.

Leena, had been enjoying her carrots. She really had been, so much that she was almost completely oblivious to the world around her. Almost being the main word, because she did in fact hear someone near her, first there was the laughing, then the pounding of steps, last and the most concerning one the sound of someone falling.

Leena's soft pink haired head looked around for who might be the cause of this. Green eyes scanning her lunch spot curiously. Soon they rested upon a figure, she was laying in the grass, which led Leena to believe that is what this person who had made the noise.

Hopping to her feet in a hurry, the small girl ran over to the girl in need, hoping that maybe she could be of some help. Coming up to the girl, Leena dropped to her knees, taking a good look at the person.

"Excuse me, but are you OK?" her voice was soft, as she asked this. Really she would have preferred a quiet lunch, but she could not just let someone get hurt with out caring, that would not be civilized.

As she lay in the grass where she'd fallen over, it was shame that kept her there as long as she did. She was hoping that no one had witnessed the shame of her fall most of all the girl having lunch. Perhaps if she just lay there the girl would think it she had 'meant' to do that. Somehow she knew this might not be the case. Her hand snaked round to the back of her skirt to pull it back down to a more respectable level as inconspicuously as she could.

The soft enquiring voice told her that her suspicion was right and thus giving up the pretence she sat up, face red from more than just the smack of the ground, eyes large in a face that held the most sheepish expression. "Um yes..." she answered looking away as her hand went across her face seeking out any unwanted souvenirs she may have unwittingly picked up.

"I'm sorry" She said "for disturbing your lunch I mean, I didn't mean to." she added finally herself inspection over, satisfied that there was nothing there. A small hesitant smile crept over her face "Hello." She said rather belatedly as she stared at the girl before her. Her eyes brightened at the bunnies in her hair "Oh what cute bunnies!" She cried ever weakling for cute and girly.

Leena, seemed happy that the other got up quick enough, though she was a little confused on what exactly it was that made her face red, and her eyes to look away. Maybe it was that her skirt had been slightly up when she first arrived over here, but Leena had not stared at that....long.

"I am glad to hear you are alright, I was worried you had hurt yourself." With those caring words, an equally caring smile followed suit. Leena's eyes wondered around the girl to make sure that she was telling the truth about being all right. It would be bad if she was lying about hurting herself.

Satisfied that the girl was OK, Leena listened to what she had to say next. "Really. It is OK. You did not disturb my lunch, I was bored anyway." She hoped that these simple words would be enough to let the girl know it was OK.

"Really? You like my hair pins?" Being the bunny person she was, the compliment had made her real happy, happy enough to actual pull herself into a hug with the girl that she had just met, no more than a minute ago.

Being drawn into the hug give so easily Kari felt for a moment like she did before she ever found out the strange circumstances that surrounded her person; an unabashed unfettered hug that came from kindness and genuine warmth. Something not tarnished by the knowledge of who she was and why she ought to be avoided, before the mistakes that eventually gave her away. Her thought as she flushed a most interesting red of embarrassment was that she’d rather keep this girl, who smelt of soft floral and gave so freely, from ever finding out. It was after all the first time in a long long time that she had the chance to make a friend so far from all who really knew her. At least till her bodyguard noticed her absence and found her in that remarkably acute way she seemed to.

She simply nodded pulling away eventually to utter a small flustered giggle her hand reaching up to push aside her fall of hair feeling rather messy in comparison and a lot stupid her fall still fresh in her mind. “Yes, they are very pretty and so very cute. Are bunnies favourite animal?” she queried.

Leena's own face had turned a hue of red, during this little hug of theirs. She was embarrassed that she and this girl had just hugged, though it was a nice hug, one that she would rate as one of her favorite hugs that she had ever been apart of.

A small disappointed frown crept on her red face as the hug has been broken, but that was soon replaced by a smile, at the question. "Oh yes! Bunnies are indeed my favorite animal. They are just so cute and huggable. I try to be like them in every way possible." Her smile grew wider with every word that came from her mouth.

"Do you have a favorite animal? If not I totally suggest a bunny." What else would she suggest? Nothing that is what. Her soft smile settled down a bit, and her eyes stared directly into the eyes of the person she had just met. It seemed like maybe she would get her wish after all, which was to have someone to spend her lunch with.

Her Lauther was soft and rather infectious and just when it seemed she might stop she stared off again "You really do like your bunnies don't you." she said beaming brightly.

"Bunnies are lovely and cute and fuzzly but I like puppies and kitties too because they are fuzzly too." Her smile died just a little "but I am not really allowed to have pets" she confided effectively leaving out the reason why.

Her hand fiddled round in the lenght of her hair uncionsiously as she spoke seeming far away for a second. "Do you have any real bunnies...oh!" her hand stilled it's twirling "but I do not know your name do I?" she said fixing the girl with an inquisitive gaze trying to recall if at any point she'd been introduced. "I only just realised, My name is Kari." she said gesturing to herself briefly. Then leaning forward a little she looked up at the pink haired girl "What's yours?"
