Sofie was nervous already, but her nerves doubled.
"B-but you already have s-someone you like," she stammered, confused, a part of her wishing to do it again.
"I was trying to be an inspiration, why do I always screw up...?" she looked at the floor again, on the verge of tears.

"Like?" Yuko whispered as she looked at her princess. "Thats not true, my princess. I like Romaine, but then I do like my princess too." Yuko totally ominous to the fact that Sofie meant the different 'like'.

"You didnt screw up! I am inspired thanks to you. Im so much inspired that I am willing to give singing in our club a chance." Yuko smiles at Sofie. Seeing her close to tears, Yuko pulls her close and embraces her. "Please dont cry princess... I dont want to see you cry, unless its for happiness."

OOC: Ah! Sofie likes Yuko?

OOC: I can't answer that, I promised Sofie I wouldn't. Why don't you ask her? =p

"I'm not crying," Sofie leaned her head against Yuko's chest, "I just wish I could do things right sometimes..." she sighed but closed her eyes enjoying the embrace.
"Ne, Yuko, can I sleep with you?" she asked, innocently mind you, not in a sexual way. Just like she used to go into her mom's bed sometimes, when she felt sad or scared...

OOC: -_- "..... meanie.." Lol. wink

Yuko embraced her tighter while saying, "My princess.. you do, do things right. I mean, you wanted to inspire me, and you did. "

When asked a question Yuko smiles and nods her head. "Of course princess.." Leaning back out of the embrace Yuko smiles as she stands up offering her hand to Sofie.

Sofie's face fully transformed into a smiling child's.
"Thank you, Yuko," she said in her sincerest tone and kissed Yuko's cheek tenderly.
"Wai, sleepover, sleepover~~" she chanted.

Yuko faintly blushed at the kiss but shook her head trying to get rid of it. "No problem my princess." She smiles in return as she leads her into the room.

She laughed when she heard her chants of a sleep over. "A sleep over? Why, yes it is." Yuko smiles as she jumps onto her bed getting under the covers. It was a cold night..

"Well? Coming to bed dear?" Yuko teased as if she was a wife telling her husband to come to bed. She laughed as she laid comfortably.

No need to call twice, Sofie crawled beneath the covers and made herself comfortable against Yuko. Her warmth and scent were all around Sofie, it was wonderful!
"Ne, won't you sing me a lullaby? Then I'll sing one to you and we can sleep," Sofie was begging with puppy eyes. Her mom always used to say a nice song before sleep guarantees nice dreams.

Yuko smiles warmly as she embraced Sofie making sure to keep her warm.

But then she blushed, "A... lullaby?" She said looking at her princess. "Ahh..." She said thinking of what and how to get out of this. But those eyes... AH! Those eyes!

Letting out a sigh of defeat Yuko smiles and nods to her. "Alright... I will."

Taking a deep breath she starts.

"Close your eyes and dream a dream..
Running through meadows with pure white wings.
Flowers bloom all around..
Hear the birds make such sweet sounds...."

During all the singing Yuko combs Sofies hair back with her fingers. As she sings a song she knew all too well...

Sofie felt the calmness of the song, along with Yuko's feelings towards it. A song could often be a safety blanket to those who sang it.
"Thank you, Yuko. You hasve a gifted voice, so pure and sincere..." Sofie whispered at the end of the song. Then her lips parted to sing the German version of Brahm's lullaby, the one song she had heard from her grandmother before she passed away. And even though Yuko could likely not understand it, every feeling was to be conveyed through the melody.
"...Schau im Traum 's Paradies." was the last verse, look in your dreams into paradise.

At the compliment Yuko smiles warmly at her as she pulls her close to keep her warm. Once Sofie starts to sing Yukos eyes starts to close slowly until finally they were shut tight.

At the end of her song Yuko cracks her eyes open and smiles at her. "Beautiful... my princess... beautiful..." she repeated.

Just when she was about to close her eyes to rest she gets the courage to ask her the question she was troubled at. "Princess? I was wondering... do... do you like me? As in... like-like?"

Half asleep half awake, Sofie sounded like a child saying good night to her mother.
"Mmh... I love Yuko.." she said, the drowsiness was evident. Her eyes shut immediately as she selpt, cuddled against Yuko's chest.

At her words, Yukos heart beat either stopped, or was beating so fast it was as if it stopped. She looked down as her princess slept cuddled up against her.

With a smile Yuko leaned close and kissed her on the cheek. "I love you too princess... I love you too.." she whispered before closing her own eyes and drifting into slumber.

When Sofie woke up her memories about the talk were faint, it had probably been a dream. At lest in her head that made sense. It wasn't late enough to panic about being late yet so she enjoyed the warmth a bit longer...

As night slowly turned to day Yuko slowly opened her eyes and smiled as she looked at her princess still comfortably next to her.

But she already knew that her princess was awake. With that she embraced the girl holding a big smile. "Did you sleep well my princess? I hope I kept the witches and dragons at bay." She grinned as she looked at her face.

Sofie nodded and smiled at Yuko.
"I slept wonderfully. I feel so nice here," the 'in your arms' would stay implicit. She had a huge cheerful smile adorning her face, even with the bags under her eyes and the pink mess on her head her expresion was very lively.
