Blade was sitting at her lunch table alone yet again. She looked over to see Kou sitting by herself as well. "Hmmm." She got up and walked over to Kou. "May I sit with you?"

The dark-haired girl wasn't hungrier today than she was yesterday, and thus, was thoughtfully fiddling with her food. "Food" being whatever slush that came out of that tin can the lunch lady decided to serve. She wasn't usually one to sit in a bustling lunchroom since silence was her constant companion, but as her luck would have it, there was a torrential downpour outside. Kou wasn't interested in having her arse wet all day.
Then, a voice interrupted her chronic poking of the slush. Blinking in curiousity, Kou replied, "Sure. Suit yourself, miss."

What's with all of these people and smiling? Being one who had a problem with simple facial expressions, Kou just stuck with what did best: She nodded in agreement and introduced herself, "My name is Kou Yuumura. Pleasure to meet you."

Interesting name... Kou returned the gesture with a short nod. With her interest piqued, the girl discreetly studied the person called Blade while continuing to poke at the mush that had somehow changed colors...perhaps it wasn't such a good idea to buy lunch from the school anymore...

Blade was a girl that looked fragile at first but when you examined her closely you would see all her scars. There is one scar that stands out the most. It is a curve under her left eye and when she smiles it looks like a moon. Blade noticed the food on Kou's plate. "Here have some of mine." She handed Kou half of a sandwich that hadn't been eaten yet.

Not quite in the mood for food, Kou politely refused the sandwich; "No, thank you." She was more interested in the scars that lined the other girl's features that were a tell-tale sign that Blade was not all that she appeared to be...

Blade smiled again making the scar under her eye turn into a cresent. She then bit down into the sandwich.
